Multifamily & Apartment EV Charging in the Bay Area
No building panel upgrade in most cases. Dynamic Power Management lets condos, apartments, and HOA-managed properties share existing service safely.
Per-stall installs, networked load-sharing for whole buildings, and full HOA approval packages — handled turnkey under California Civil Code §4745.

For residents & condo owners
A charger in your stall — without fighting the HOA
We've installed in dozens of Bay Area condo and apartment buildings. We bring the HOA-ready approval package, pull the permit, run conduit cleanly through shared spaces, sub-meter where required, and do finish work that respects the building's aesthetic.

Whole-building charging without rebuilding the service
We design networked, load-shared installs that scale from 4 to 40+ ports on existing infrastructure. Rebate-stack-aware — we sequence the project to maximize PCE, SVCE, and PG&E EV Charge Network funding.
Schedule a site walk →Why DPM is the Multifamily Difference
The biggest blocker for multifamily EV charging is electrical capacity. Buildings designed in the 1960s and 70s have just enough service for the original loads — adding ten EV circuits at 40A each is theoretically 400A of demand on a panel that may only have 200–400A of capacity total.
Load sharing fixes this. Networked DPM chargers communicate over WiFi or Ethernet and dynamically split available current between active sessions. Ten chargers on a 100A circuit deliver full speed when one car is plugged in — and quietly slow down when six cars charge simultaneously. Nobody waits in the dark for a panel upgrade that costs $40,000 in a 24-unit building.
We've designed and installed these systems on PG&E and CleanPowerSF infrastructure with no service changes required. The result: more chargers, faster timeline, lower cost, and no special-assessment meeting at the HOA.
