240V outlet already in place; we mount, connect, and commission the charger.
Standard install

Long conduit run

What Affects EV Charger Installation Cost?
1. Conduit distance
A longer run needs more wire, conduit, drilling, and labor, so a 50 ft run costs more than a 10 ft run.
2. Panel capacity
100A panels often look full but rarely need an upgrade. DPM (Dynamic Power Management) lets most homes skip a $7,500+ panel upgrade.
3. Indoor vs outdoor
Outdoor installs need weatherproof boxes, sealed conduit, and sometimes pillar mounts, which add to the price.
4. City and permit
San Francisco DBI permits and Hillsborough estate permits take longer and cost more than Peninsula cities. We handle all permit work.
5. Trenching
Detached garages or driveway installs may need underground conduit. Trenching adds to the price depending on length; we quote it after photos.
6. Condo / HOA
Shared panels, individual metering, and HOA approval add complexity. We've handled it all under CA AB 1228.
